Towson University has executed formal articulation agreements or memorandums of understanding (MOU) with 13 of the 24 local school systems in the state of Maryland.

To assist local school systems in establishing the Teach Academy of Maryland (TAM) program of study in their respective jurisdictions, the TAM Implementation Guide was developed. It was drafted collaboratively by TU personnel with input from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and support from the University System of Maryland through a Teacher Quality Enhancement Grant from the United States Department of Education (USDE).
