Communication Management (M.S.)

Whatever your communication goal may be, this program helps you gain the knowledge, skills and abilities required to research, plan, implement and evaluate communications strategies to achieve organizational goals.

This master’s program offers both professional and research-oriented coursework with an emphasis on public relations and integrated communication. You learn to manage and appropriately integrate a variety of communication functions. Your coursework and professors will help you expand your knowledge of all facets of organizational communication and public relations.

Many students enter the program with expertise in certain areas of communication. They use the graduate program to master familiar areas or focus on new areas of communication.

Our theory and methodology courses provide you with the academic tools you will need to complete the final components of the program — either comprehensive exams or a thesis.
