Theatre (M.F.A.)

This rigorous program offers an experimental lab environment for the training of the total theatre maker.

TU students in a theatre production

Towson University’s Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts cultivates the total theatre maker through an interdisciplinary, process-oriented and collaborative experience. The program serves artists who cannot be content working in a single discipline or in the traditional conservatory model but instead aspire to create work by investigating new systems, forms or models.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

You can view admission and degree requirements in the Graduate Catalog.
