Accessible Parking and Transportation
Parking for individuals with disabilities will be available in lot 21 adjacent to the Towson Center while space is available. Once this lot is full, additional parking will be available in lot 13. In order to utilize handicapped parking spaces, a valid state issued handicapped permit or license plate must be clearly displayed. It is recommended that individuals with mobility issues travel in the vehicle that will be in possession of the Commencement permit.
PLEASE NOTE: Vehicles will NOT be permitted near the Towson Center to drop off passengers. Individuals must park in their designated areas and ride the shuttle or walk to the Towson Center.
Guests with mobility needs who do not have a state issued accessible license plate or hangtag should park in the designated lot based on whether or not they are in possession of a Commencement permit. Shuttle buses and Para transit services will be available from all Towson Center lots to transport guests to the Towson Center. Family members and guest who utilize the Paratransit service are welcome to ride the Paratransit provided space is available. After the ceremony, shuttles and the Para transit will be available to transport passengers back to parking lots. Service may be requested by speaking with a Parking & Transportation staff member or by calling 410-704-RIDE (7433).
Guests who are deaf or hard-of-hearing who require sign language interpreters and guests using wheelchairs or with limited mobility have reserved seating. Please inform an usher that you need this seating when you enter the Towson Center. The ceremony will be sign interpreted.
