Each student who participates in the commencement ceremonies is eligible to receive an initial FOUR tickets to his/her designated ceremony. The tickets have been placed on an account in your name through the e-ticketing website and will be available starting at 10 am on December 1, 2014. Access to the initial FOUR tickets will continue through December 15, 2014.
Instructions for Downloading Initial FOUR (4) Tickets:
An individual account has already been created for each of you, using your Towson University student e-mail account. You must use this e-mail address to access your tickets. Begin by clicking on the link below and following the instructions that follow:
Link will be provided and active in May.
Enter your Towson University student e-mail address into the Login field
Enter your 8 digit date of birth in the Password field (Ex. If you were born on June 3, 1991, your password would be 06031991).
Once you enter your account, you will need to change your password.
Click “Manage My Tickets” and select an action “Print-At-Home”
Additional Tickets will be made available online for each ceremony, on a first come-first served basis, starting at 6 pm on Monday, December 8, 2014. These will continue to be available until all tickets have been claimed.
Instructions for Obtaining Additional Tickets:
Log into your account using the same link, username, and password you created to get your initial 4 tickets.
Click on “2014 Winter Commencement”
Use drop down arrow to select the number of additional tickets desired from those available.
Proceed through “Buy” process (Of note, you are not actually, “buying” tickets, this is simply a website term to transfer tickets from the inventory to your account)
All guests entering the arena will need a ticket. This includes children of all ages. Any seating that is being held/reserved in the arena must be released 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to seat other guests.
An index card printed with your
name, address, and e-mail address will be given to you when you arrive at the Student Robing area (Towson Center gymnasium).
If any of the information on the front of the card is incorrect, please be sure that you make changes
on the reverse of the card to ensure our records have your most current contact information.
REMINDER: Make sure to check and update your address in the Student Center at http://sa/selfservices as soon as possible to ensure your diploma is mailed to the correct address.
Programs will be distributed to participants free of charge at the ceremony. The Commencement Program recognizes each graduate, listing each degree recipient by degree, department and date.
Diplomas are not distributed during the Commencement ceremony.
