Each graduate who participates in the Winter Commencement exercises will receive FOUR tickets. Only participants in the ceremony will receive tickets.
You'll receive information about ticket distribution in your Commencement Instruction packet when you pick up your cap and gown at the University Store, or when you receive your cap and gown in the mail. Those students wearing previously purchased regalia must have it approved by November 15th. Once approved, students will receive access to obtain FOUR tickets online.
Additional Tickets
The distribution of extra commencement tickets will be done online this year. Please check back on this site for further information.
All guests entering the arena will need a ticket. This includes children of all ages. Any seating that is being held/reserved in the arena must be released 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to seat other guests.
Name Cards
An index card printed with your
name and address will be given to you with your academic regalia.
If the address on the front of the card is incorrect, please make changes
on the reverse of the card. Also, make sure to correct
your address immediately in the Student Center at http://sa/selfservices
and click > online services so your diploma will be sent to the correct address.
Please bring this card with you to Commencement exercises. You will need to hand the card to the reader as you cross the stage.
Commencement Programs
Programs will be distributed to participants free of charge at the ceremony. The Commencement Program recognizes each graduate, listing each degree recipient by degree, department and date.
Diplomas
Diplomas are not distributed during the Commencement ceremony.
