The
New
Music Ensemble
at Towson University
During
2007-2008, the
Ensemble
presented three concerts:
October
24, 2007,
February 27th, 2008 and April 23rd, 2008. All concerts
weere given in the Center
for the Arts Recital Hall at Towson University.

The October 24th concert
featured music
by David Froom
whose composition Emerson
Songs was performed by Featured Performer Leneida
Crawford.
The October concert also included Luciano
Berio's Circles
for voice, harp, and two percussion, and Judith Lang
Zaimont's composition From
the Great Land: Womans Songs for mezzo soprano, clarinet
(Eskimo
drum), and piano.

The April 23rd concert
featured a series of mixed ensemble works. The program included Burton
Beerman's Circle

for string quartet, Pierre
Boulez's Dérive,

Wuorinen's New York Notes.
