Learning Goals for the Applied Information Technology Doctoral Program

Students will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals in four of the following five areas:  computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and operating systems), database systems, computer networks, software engineering, and applied information technology.

Students will demonstrate the potential to conduct and present scholarly research.

Students will demonstrate the capability to be successful in academia and/or industry.
