Dear Colleagues, Our dear friend and colleague Joan Lang submitted her retirement request letter today after 17 years in the Computer & Information Sciences Department at Towson University. She has been one of the most important persons in the department for a long long time. All the faculty, students and their parents love her so much! I have been receiving letters, phone calls and e-mails the past 6 years as Chair from students and parents saying how much Ms. Lang has helped them! I was shocked, and the only thing that I can do now is to wish her happiness in her new retired life. We will miss her very much! Plans for her retirement farewell will be forthcoming. Chao |
