The Computer and Information Sciences (COSC) Department is one of the largest departments at Towson University, offering sixty undergraduate courses, more than thirty graduate courses, and serving approximately 1,000 undergraduate and graduate majors. We have 39 full-time faculty members and recruit new faculty every year. Our part-time faculty are highly motivated and active in business and industry.  COSC faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and providing students with professional guidance and advice. Josh Dehlinger, Shiva Azadegan and Sidd Kaza received an NSF grant for $199,971 for Revitalizing the Computer Science Undergraduate Curriculum Inside and Outside of the Classroom Using Mobile Computing Platforms.
