Trying to get down to a healthy weight?

Simple diet and exercise changes can have a significant impact over time. Thirty minutes of exercise per day is recommended, even if broken into three 10-minute chunks. Aim for a balanced and varied diet that includes lots of unprocessed, high-fiber foods that are low in saturated fats (e.g., fruits, vegetables, whole grains). Also, think about strategies that will help you maintain these behaviors. For instance, tell others what your goal is and how you are going to achieve it; this will help you hold yourself accountable. Or find a workout partner to help you stick to your exercise routine. One key to success is keeping the inevitable slip-ups in perspective and not giving up when they happen.
