Research Interests

  • Dr. Bassich’s primary research interests are focused in the area of voice and speech symptoms associated with Young-onset Parkinson’s disease. Her secondary research endeavors are concerned with phonatory offset-onset articulatory gestures of the larynx. Nationally, she presented two posters and one technical session at the 2005 Annual Convention of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, San Diego and will be presenting two posters at the 2006 Annual Convention of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in Miami.
