MCTP will wrap up its final year of its National Science Foundation grant in
late 2002. In this book, read about how the Maryland Collaborative has
impacted science and mathematics instruction in the state of Maryland and
throughout the nation. This volume will focus on the critical research
conducted by Dr. J. Randy McGinnis (see MCTP
research for more information on Dr. McGinnis' work), as well as the
experiences of MCTP students and new teachers in their own voices. The
progress and impact of the highly innovative and successful internship program, Maryland
Educators' Summer Research Program, will also be covered in
detail.
