Scholarships and Student Opportunities
TU High School Parallel Enrollment Program
Towson University offers a High School Parallel Enrollment Program for high school students who wish to take courses and earn college credit. Students in this program must enroll as a non-degree student within the university, as well as a student within the TUCDD pre-professional program. Applicants must seek approval from the TU Dance Department faculty and TUCDD education director before applying to the university.
TUCDD Teacher Assistant Program
A Towson University’s Children’s Dance Division (TUCDD) teacher assistant is defined as a dancer who has the potential within their artistry to grow as a mentor when given the opportunity to train under the guidance and skill of master teachers. A TUCDD teacher assistant will gain insight and knowledge into teaching methodology, lesson planning, classroom management, and discipline.
TUCDD Scholarship Application
A Towson University ’s Children’s Dance Division (TUCDD) scholarship recipient is defined as a dancer in need of financial assistance who has the potential within their artistry to grow as a dancer when given the opportunity to train under the guidance and skill of master teachers. A TUCDD scholarship recipient will gain advance knowledge, technique and discipline in order to integrate self-expression and artistic voice of all dance forms, past and present. TUCDD offers scholarships each semester
