Lester Holmes

After an exciting career in NYC performing in theater, nightclubs, television and Broadway as well as teaching dance in the 'Big Apple', Mr. Holmes spent four years teaching and choreographing in Italy. Upon his return to the States, he then moved to the Baltimore area to take over a dance studio in 1993. Lester is now a proud faculty member of Goucher College and Towson University, having also taught at St. Timothy's School, The Peabody Preparatory, Essex Community College, while still teaching at Howard Community College.
Mr. Holmes teaches master classes in the Baltimore/DC area and has choreographed for Center Stage, The Rouse Theater and several productions in the vicinity. Most recently, he is thrilled to be a part of the 'new and improved' Children's Dance Division team at Towson University.
In addition to loving his work, Lester thoroughly enjoys traveling, anything Italian, his dogs, a good card game and a big bowl of Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream!
