Biography

Born in Naples, Florida, Kasey began dancing at the age of 2. Her passion for performing took off after having the opportunity to dance with the Miami City Ballet in “The Nutcracker” when she was only seven years old. After moving to Ocean City, New Jersey, Kasey competed at regional and national dance competitions and started getting involved in the teaching side of dance. Kasey regularly attends dance conventions such as THE PULSE learning from world-renowned choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, Wade Robson, Dave Scott, Desmond Richardson, Brian Friedman, and Cris Judd.
Kasey is currently a senior at Towson University studying in the BFA Dance Performance and Education program. Here at Towson, she won their “So You Think You Can Dance” competition and was awarded a scholarship to Broadway Dance Center. She also had the opportunity to appear in “Continuous Replay” choreographed By Bill T. Jones, excerpts of the “Alvin Ailey Suite” restaged by Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell and Troy Powell, and “Unscathed” choreographed by Associate Artistic Director of Ailey II, Troy Powell.
Kasey’s favorite styles are jazz, modern, and contemporary. She has taught and choreographed at several dance studios in Florida, New Jersey, and Maryland. She is very excited to be a part of TUCD!
