Praised by "International Piano" magazine for her commanding stage presence and elegant musicianship, Dr.Woobin Park has appeared throughout the United States and South Korea with various types of solo and chamber recitals as well as collaboration with renowned orchestras. She has performed in distinguished concert venues including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall in New York, Kumho Art Hall, and the Seoul Arts Center, which is the most prestigious Hall in South Korea. In the 2009-2010 season, she performed two duo concerts with acclaimed pianist Lydia Artymiw at Steinway Hall New York and Recital Hall, the Seoul Arts Center. In 2011, she presented a solo recital dedicated to Liszt’s bicentennial celebration at the Kumho Art Hall in Seoul and Fort Washington Harmony Hall near Washington D.C. She also made a special appearance in a program of piano trios at the KAIST University Auditorium in South Korea. For the 2012-2013 season, her engagements include new recording project "The 23 greatest solo piano works" with professor Robert Greenberg of U.C. Berkeley, a solo lecture-recital at the Black Box Theatre sponsored by the Howard County Arts Council in Maryland, and a chamber music concert at Joppa Hall, Harford Community College. She is also scheduled to be performed a solo recital by July 2013 at IBK Hall, the Seoul Arts Center. She is a winner of numerous competitions including Los Angeles Liszt International Piano Competition, where she was also awarded “Best Performance of the Required Work,” Elinor Watson Bell Piano Competition, San Nicola di Bari International Piano Competition, Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, University of Minnesota Concerto Competition, and American Protege International Competition of Romantic Music. She holds the Master of Music degree and Performer's Diploma from Indiana University Bloomington, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
