Katie Vaught has studied dance for over 20 years. She began her training under the direction of Gennadi and Susan Vostrikov in Winchester, VA and attended summer sessions at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She continued her studies at Shenandoah University before going on to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She has taught at Vostrikov’s Academy of Ballet, Dance.Tech in Blacksburg, VA, and for the Performing and Visual Arts Northwest program. Her experience also includes adjudicating for Virginia Summer Residential Governor's School. She currently resides in Maryland, teaching in the Baltimore and Washington metro areas and dancing with Mich-Mash Productions. Her piece "Inclination" was recently accepted into Deviated Theatre's Rising Artist Showcase.
