Please Note:

Tuition rates change for 41 week families and all new incoming families as of June 1. Rates change for our 52 week families as of the first week of our new contract which is typically the third week of August. The $250 deposit for the summer is required of 41 week families.  "Summer" typically runs from the first week of June through the end of the second week of August.  If a 41 week family wishes to add extra weeks during the summer, they must notify the director in writing prior to April 1st.   Should the space be available, 41 week families will be charged the current year's prices.   If a family does not meet the April 1st deadline, time during the summer can only be picked up in weekly amounts, at an extra cost of $25.00 per week.

We occasionally enroll 5-year olds who miss the September 1 cut-off date for entry into Kindergarten in Maryland’s Public School systems. We also will consider accepting children whose parents would like their child to have another year of PreSchool before entering Kindergarten.

Procedures regarding Parking and Access Entry

**Parking permits are required when dropping off/picking up children. All students, faculty and staff should already have a University parking permit. Alums and Community must purchase a Towson University parking permit for purposes of drop off/pick up.

***"Access/Entry "Swipe Card" will be required for entry. Students, faculty & staff families will already have this card, Alum and Community families will be given this card.(First card is free, but a replacement costs $15.00.) These cards are required to facilitate safe entry.

Payment Considerations

Please visit the Bursar's Office Payment Options for an explanation of the payment plans available.  All families use either a 6 payment plan (41 week families), or an 8 payment plan (52 week families) schedule, unless a family enrolls beyond the beginning of the contract year. In that case, the initial payments would need to be condensed to "catch up" to the schedule which all of our other families follow. Payments, then, for these families would be aligned to the same dates as our regular families.

Payment Due Dates and $250 deposit date(s) w/Application due for our '12/'13 year.

Families enrolling or re-enrolling for our new year which formally begins the third week of August should anticipate the following payment dates:

41 week families: Our first payment of six payments for the year which begins officially on August 13, 2012 is July 30, 2012; (1st)  August 30: (2nd), September 30; (3rd), October (none), Deposit of $250 for the coming year, November 30, 2012. Please be sure to label the $250 check separately as being the "deposit for the up-coming year", and leave it with Miss Debbie. She will check with the Bursar's Office and, when we are assured that you are up-to-date on your current payments, your check will be deposited.

Our Fall semester is 18 weeks long, Our Spring Semester is 22 weeks long and the first payment is due on December 31, 2012, (1st), second payment is due January 31, 2013, (2), third and last of six payments is due February 28, 2013. (3)

Our summer semester is a 12 weeks long.

All payments must be

made by end June at the latest, and depending upon how early we have your request, could be broken into two payments, end May, and end June.

Please be aware: not all families start with us in mid-August. Some start earlier, and therefore, occupy classroom spots. Summer spots go very quickly.

Please note: We are requesting that all 41 week families return the week before we formally begin, the week of 8/13/12, to make the transition easier for all of our children. (Being out two weeks is a long time for a little child. We have found that being out "most of the summer" is a huge deterrent to blending-in with ease. We would like our 41 week new-and-returning-families to start a week earlier than our other children, most of which will already be here anyhow, as they are already 52 week families.)

52 week families: The first payment of eight payments for next year which formally begins August 20, 2012 is due July 31, 2012, (1st); August 30; (2nd);, September 30, (3rd); October, no payment, November 30, 2012--$250 deposit for the coming year. December 31, 2012, 4th., January 31; (5th) February 28; (6th), March 30; no payment, April, no payment. The $250 deposit for the following year is due November 15.. Please be sure to label the $250 deposit check separately, as being the $250 deposit for Fall of 2013 and leave with Miss Debbie, who will contact the Bursar's Office to see if you are up to date with your payments. If you are, she will submit it to the Bursar's Office for deposit. Our summer semester is 12 weeks long. All payments must be

made by end June at the latest, and depending upon how early we have your request, could be broken into two due date payments: end May, and end June. All 52 week families already have summer included in their bill. Other families may make a request, and depending upon whether or not their previous financial obligations have been met, and if we still have room, we will try to accomodate the number of weeks requested.

Please be aware: not all families start with us in mid-August. Some start earlier, and therefore, occupy classroom spots. Summer spots go very quickly.

Yearly Tuition Increases:

We are typically notified by early May regarding rate increases by the office of The Vice President of Finance.  We will publish these increases as soon as they become available.  Meanwhile, for planning purposes, you can assume that tuition rates will go up no higher than a 4% increase.

Diapering:

Please note that for the 2012-2013 year we will not charge for diapering on the following dates: 9/3, 11/22, 11/23, 12/24-1/2/13, 1/21, 3/18-3/22, 5/27, 7/4.
