Please Note: Rates change for 40 week families and all new incoming families as of June 2, 2008. Rates change for our 52 week families as of August 25, 2008. Forty week families also pay $200 for deposit for the summer (which comes off of their last payment), the $50.00 registration charge and the $5.00 for insurance IF they want to pick up any time in the summer after their forty week contract has expired. (Time in the summer can only be picked up in weekly amounts, and at an extra $5.00 per day for 40 week families.) *We do enroll 5-year olds who missed the September 1st cut-off date for entry into Kindergarten in Maryland’s Public School Systems.We also accept children whose parents would like their child to have another year of PreSchool before entering Kindergarten. (We assess and continue to evaluate, on an individual basis, all children who are 5+ years of age.)
12 credits = Full-time Undergraduate Student Status 11 credits and below = Part-time Undergraduate Student Status Information regarding number of credit hours obtained from the Bursar’s Office website under Tuition & Fees.
9 credits = Full-time Graduate & Doctoral Student Status 8 credits and below = Part-time Graduate & Doctoral Student Status Information regarding number of credit hours obtained from Graduate Catalog '07/'08, page 13.
**Parking permits are required when dropping off/picking up children. All students, faculty and staff should already have a University parking permit. Alums and Community must purchase a Towson University parking permit for purposes of drop off/pick up.
***"Access/Entry "Swipe Card" will be required for entry after our system is finalized. Faculty & Staff families will already have this card, Alum and Community families will be given this card.(Card is free, but a replacement costs $15.00.) These cards are required to facilitate safe entry. Please see www.towson.edu/adminfinance/fiscalplanning/bursar/paymentinformation/paymentoptions.asp for an explanation of our Bursar Office's "payment options". (Please note: those of you making "partial" payments will not be able to use the Bursar's Office "on-line" payment option. All families are using a 6 (40 week families), or 8 (52 week families) payment schedule option, unless they arrive beyond the beginning of the contract year, in which case the initial payments would need to be condensed to "catch up" with the schedule that all other families are following. Payment Due/Application Due with $200 deposit dates for our '08/'09 year. Families enrolling or re-enrolling for our new year which begins August 25, 2008 and ends, depnding upon the length of contract you request, either May 30, 2009 or August 21, 2009 will have the following payment due dates: 40 week families; August 15, '08, September 15, October 15, November 15, December 15, and January 15, '09. (February 16: Applications for following year w/$200 application fee are due.) March 20, applications for summer for our 40 week families w/$200 application fee are due (if they think they might want to pick up any extra time in the summer).. 52 week families; August 15, '08, September 15, October 15, November 15, December 15, January 15, '09. (February 16 Applications for the following fall w/$200 deposit are due). Fifty two week families also have their last two payments due on March 16, and April 30.
