Malcolm Rio
Art, concentration in Graphic Design, Philosophy
Expected Graduation: 2012
A transfer student from the University of Maryland’s Architecture Program, Malcolm came back home to Towson to gain a better mastery in the fine arts before re-pursuing his dreams in architecture. To Malcolm, “music is like air. It plays a crucial role for me in the creative process.” Design to Malcolm goes far beyond its face value given by mainstream society and corporate manipulation. Design for him has the greatest potential in the ‘socially conscious art’ movement, which is why he has paired his major in art here at Towson with philosophy.
Katie Bryson
Major: Art, concentration in Graphic Design
Expected Graduation: 2012
Katie loves many things in life, the most prominent being art and animals. Originally planning to be a veterinarian, Katie decided her true passion was art after her senior year art class in High School. With all of her family, friends, and pets at home in New Jersey, Katie plans to take the experiences from working at the Design Center back home with her to find a permanent job after she graduates.
Megan Mancuso
Major: Art, concentration in Graphic Design
Minor: Business, Communication and the Liberal Arts
Expected Graduation: 2013
Megan has always excelled in the arts. It was only after being accepted into Towson that she realized her true calling was for Graphic Design, something that is prominent in the lives of everyone. She enjoys watching movies, reading and hanging out with friends in her spare time. Megan looks forward to her future as a Graphic Designer and hopes to walk away from Towson with the experience and confidence needed to get a job straight out of college.
