Q: What is the Founders Society?
A: The Founders Society is the premier leadership recognition society
for annual support at Towson.
Q: Can I support my college or a specific
scholarship or program?
A: Yes! All gifts that you make between July 1 and June 30 qualify
for Founders Society membership.
Q: Do gifts to athletics count toward
membership?
A: Yes, although we hope that you also will make an academic gift
to sustain Towson's momentum.
Q: I made a gift last February? Does that
count for membership?
A: The Founders Society only recognizes gifts received between July
1 and June 30.
Q: Can I pay a pledge over a year?
A: All pledge payments must be received within the university's
fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) to qualify for membership.
Q: My company matches my gifts. Does that
count toward Founders Society membership?
A: Yes. If received in the same fiscal year, matching gifts are
combined with your contribution to establish membership in the Founders
Society.
Q: I have some appreciated stock. Can
I gift these securities?
A: Absolutely! For information about transferring securities to
