About the Founders Society
The Founders Society is the university-wide leadership recognition program for yearly support in the Towson Fund. Membership requires annual renewal and recognizes alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff who are dedicated to the vision of Towson. Founders Society contributors are individuals we can count on, year after year, for the private funding the university needs for all facets of university life, from student support and faculty development to enhanced programming.

Gifts may support any designation at the university or be unrestricted to assist with university priorities. Through their generosity, Founders Society members show commitment to the university’s ambitions and confidence in its plans for the future.

Members of the Founders Society are invited to special events, recognized with an honorary designation in publications and receive quarterly communications. Gifts qualifying for membership in the 2012 Founders Society are received between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012.

Towson University’s worth to the greater region is immeasurable. Its impact on students is life-changing. As a philanthropist, you will become part of the excitement that is Towson.

When I look back on some of my professors and what they taught me, they played a large part in the way I think about the world, not to mention preparing me for the career I have. Towson University – the direct contact with the professors, the challenging environment, the friendships I formed, the whole culture of the campus – had a great effect on the person I am today. Anyone who looks back and recognizes that impact should give back to make sure that Towson continues to grow in reputation and can continue to offer those opportunities to the next generation.
