A charitable lead trust is a gift instrument whereby property is transferred into a trust. An income stream is created for Towson University Foundation, Inc. Upon termination of the trust, the principal may be transferred to the donor's heirs or as otherwise instructed in the trust document.

Donors who establish charitable lead trusts are eligible for membership in Towson's Tower Light Society.
