Marching Band Alumni, Parent & Fan Reception September 3, 2009
Over 100 energized marching band alumni, parents and fans turned out for a reception prior to the Fall Sports Pep Rally at Johnny Unitas Stadium. The program included a live preview of the new Tiger Fight Song and congratulatory remarks from President Caret, Provost Welsh, and band director John Miliauskas. All applauded the bands tremendous growth in size and talent which has led to the honor of being the only university marching band to march in the 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Event proceeds will benefit the TU Marching Band.
