TU Marching Band Send-off Celebration November 23, 2009
The campus gathered for a spectacular send-off party for the TU Marching Band as they prepare to depart for New York to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith joined President Caret in wishing the band well and thanking them for bringing such prestigious visibility to the university and the Towson community. Band director, John Miliauskas, also recognized the four individuals responsible for the university’s new fight song, which made its debut in September.
