Towson University invites you to take part in the opening of one
of the newest and most exciting academic and arts facilities in
the region. The Center for the Arts has undergone a $53 million
renovation and expansion and officially opened its doors with a
ceremonial ribbon cutting on August 30, 2005.
The Campaign for the Center for the Arts will build and expand
significantly the general endowment for the College of Fine Arts
and Communication which consists of the departments of Art, Dance,
Electronic Media and Film, Mass Communication and Communication
Studies, Music, and Theatre Arts.
With the naming of each new studio, theater, classroom and gallery, you have the opportunity to contribute to the academic success of talented students and aspiring artists and to bring art, theater and music to children and adults throughout the region.
