College of Liberal Arts Building

On September 12, 2007, Towson University broke ground for a 250,000-square-foot College of Liberal Arts Building on the former site of the Lida Lee Tall building. The College of Liberal Arts Building, TU's first entirely new academic building in 30 years, is being built in two phases. It will complement the university's historic structures while setting the standard for future projects with its green, 21st-century design and innovative use of interior space.

College of Liberal Arts Building Phase I was completed in fall 2009, and its many classrooms, labs and faculty offices are now in use. Phase II is scheduled for completion in fall 2011, and will include impressive galleries, a writing center, additional labs, student areas and lounges.

You have the opportunity to name a classroom, seminar room, lab, gallery and more in the new building, and in doing so you will build CLA’s endowment and contribute to the long-term success of the college and its students.

For information on naming opportunities that are available in the new College of Liberal Arts Building, or to schedule a tour, please contact the university development office at toll-free at 1-866-301-3375 or
