How to Make a Gift
When you make a gift to the Towson University, you have tremendous
flexibility in determining how the funds will be used, as well as
many options for making your gift.
Unrestricted gifts are among the most valuable to TU, because they
allow the university to direct resources to the areas of greatest
need. Your unrestricted contribution may be used to support costs
associated with scholarships, technology upgrades, faculty development,
student life, program enhancements and much more.
If you prefer, you may choose to designate your contribution to
support an academic college or department, a named scholarship,
or various university programs. For a complete listing of accounts,

All funds received in support of Towson University are placed under
the management of the Towson University Foundation, Inc. The Foundation's
mission is to ensure that gifts and contributions will be utilized
to benefit the institution as requested by the donor.

equipment, furniture, and research materialsin some cases may
enable you to make a significant gift to support Towson with tax

gift option. For information, contact Donna Mayer, Senior Director
of Gift Planning at 410-704-3375 or toll free at 1-866-301-3375.
- Matching Gift Programs
are an easy way to double or even triple your contribution to
Towson University. Such programs typically match all or a percentage
of employee contributions to charitable organizations.
- Gift Pledges. TU welcomes your gift through a pledgea formal statement of intention to make a gift to the university.

over time, allowing you to give more generously than you originally

Students in 1993 build houses for the Habitat for Humanity program. Last year, around 2,500 students contributed more than 12,000 hours of service. Financial support from our alumni, parents and friends help make these opportunities for students possible.
