Community Enrichment & Enhancement Partnership Award
The Community Enrichment and Enhancement Partnership Award (CEEP) is administered by Towson University's
Center for Student Diversity (CSD). CEEP (pronounced KEEP) is designed to increase the access and success of culturally diverse and traditionally under-served undergraduate students.
Purpose
To foster an environment that appreciates and values an increasingly diverse student body
To increase the recruitment, retention, and graduation of underrepresented students
To develop student interest, involvement, and leadership in community-building initiatives
Award Amount
CEEP Award recipients are usually granted between $2,500 - $3,000 per year. The award may be renewed for up to four
(4) years.
Eligibility Criteria
The CEEP Award has traditionally emphasized racial and ethnic diversity. Other socio-cultural factors including: age, disability, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender and socio-economic status are also considered. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, enrolled full-time and needing a minimum of thirty credits to graduate (if a transfer student). In addition, applicant must meet at least three of the following criteria:
First generation college student
From a single parent household
Be a member of an under-served group
Have overcome personal, social and/or physical obstacles in pursuit of an education
From an environment or academic setting that may have hindered educational pursuits
Important Date February 15
Application deadline for incoming freshmen and new transfer students

Applications are available at www.towson.edu/diversity (click the "Scholarship and Grants" heading)
Complete the application and click the Submit button.
The student's application, contract, grade point average (for transfer students) and financial aid stats will all be considered in the selection process.
CEEP Grants are awarded
after committee review and approval by the Director of Student Success Programs.
