Anee Korme is the Associate Director for African American Student Development in the Center for Student Diversity at Towson University. She joined the Towson University community in September 2014.

In her role, she supports the African American student community at Towson through advising, leadership and diversity training, student conferences and dynamic student programs. Anee is passionate about creating opportunities for students of color to reach their academic, social and personal potential.

Prior to coming to the Towson University, Anee served as the Assistant Director for Campus Life at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where she advised their Campus Activities Board and led campus wide committees in the planning of university traditions such as Homecoming, Springfest, and Black Heritage Month. Anee has seven years’ experience at various public institutions working as a student organization advisor, an office coordinator for an African American Art and Cultural Center, and in student success initiatives. She has also led various millennial based social justice and diversity seminars both in the Washington, DC area as well as the greater St. Louis area.

Anee received her Bachelor of Business from Temple University and completed her Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Outside of work, Anee enjoys traveling, yoga, crafting and listening to hip hop.
