The Dowell Health Center provides health services for registered Towson University students and English Language Center students. Faculty and staff are eligible for immunization services. The health center is conveniently located in Dowell Hall, across from the Newell Den and close to Cook Library.

Closed Saturday and Sunday, university holidays

Mission of the Student Health Service at Dowell Health Center
Our mission is to enhance students' ability to participate fully in opportunities for learning and personal development at Towson University by addressing students' immediate health care needs, promoting wellness and responsible health behavior, and helping students learn to take an active and proactive role in their own health and health care. Our goal is to provide accessible, high quality primary care services, including health promotion and education, in a caring environment that respects students' dignity, diversity, and privacy.

The Health Center complies with federal and state laws regarding the confidentiality and security of medical records,
including HIPAA. No information concerning a patient's health or health care will be released to anyone, including parents, without the patient's knowledge and consent, except as required by law
or described in our HIPAA-compliant "Notice of Privacy Practices."
