Appointments

Dowell Health Center operates by appointments to avoid long waits at the Health Center and to assure patients with urgent problems are seen promptly.

Fast Track Clinic:
Certain simple complaints can be seen at our Fast Track Clinic on a same day basis. 

Please be on time for your appointment
We strive to keep your waiting time at the clinic as short as possible. It will help reduce your total time at the Health Center if you arrive on-time for your appointment, preferably 5 to 10 minutes early. Our appointments are tightly scheduled, so if you are late, the next patient may be seen ahead of you. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be rescheduled.

Always bring your insurance card or policy information with you
You will be asked for it at your first appointment of the new semester or any time your insurance information has changed. .

Charging for no-shows
If you fail to show or cancel 2 hours in advance for certain types of visits we will charge your account a no-show fee.  These visits include routine physicals, annual GYN exams, allergy shots and STD screenings.  Patients with early morning appointments that wish to cancel should call by 8am and leave a message on our answering machine.
