As a Towson University student
You have the right to utilize all the health services offered at the Dowell Health Center. Our staff wants every student to maximize their opportunity to fully participate in campus life, and our services are intended to enhance that ability by promoting student health and wellness, as well as treating sickness and injury;
You will be treated with dignity and respect, in a welcoming and non-judgemental manner;
You have the right to choose a clinician with whom you can work effectively, and are free to change clinicians at any time.
Your responsibilities include
Taking an active role in your health care, including decisions about treatment
Using the health care system appropriately, including making and keeping appointment
Answering questions honestly
Complying with treatment and follow-up to which you have agreed
Treating our staff with respect
Being considerate of others by arriving on time for appointments or calling to cancel when you are unable to come.
