You
have 5 days (120 hrs) to avoid pregnancy! Emergency contraceptive
pills ("ECPs") are available by prescription for women
who have had unprotected intercourse within the past 5 days. ECPs
are used when:
You and your partner did not use contraception
Your contraceptive might not have worked for any reason (condom
broke, missed pills, etc.)
You were forced to have sex
