Immunizations and TB Testing

Immunizations offered include required vaccines: MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (Tdap) and Meningococcal vaccine (Menactra or Menveo, required if living in on-campus housing).

In addition, we offer recommended vaccine: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, flu vaccine, and HPV vaccine (Gardisil, recommended for both men and women up to age 26).

We provide TB testing for students in health professions programs that is required for clinical placements.

To schedule a nurse appointment online for a vaccine or TB test, go to our secure patient web portal: http://mydowellhealth.towson.edu. Log in with your Towson ID/Password and click on Appointments. You may need to complete several online forms (HIPAA Privacy, Financial/Consent to Treat, Medical History) prior to scheduling an appointment for the first time if you have not already done so.
