Student Housing

Building - ELC Towson MarylandELC students are responsible for locating their own housing.  However, information concerning on and off campus housing can be found on this page.  The ELC staff will be happy to answer questions you might have.

Students enrolled in the English Language Center will find that there are a number of apartment complexes that are within walking distance of the campus. Students can expect to pay an average of $500 - $650.00 per person in a double occupancy apartment. Rents are higher if a student lives alone.

Dormitory living is available during the summer session only for students who request it on their ELC Application Form. On-campus housing costs range from $1,908 to $2,395 per student, per semester, depending on the type of accommodations. Students who live on campus must purchase a Meal Dining Plan. The plan allows the student to have a certain number of meals per week on campus. The cost of the meal plan varies with the number of meals selected. Because campus housing is limited, students who wish to apply to live on campus should do so at the earliest possible date before the semester they want to begin studying in the ELC.

Off-Campus housing is also available. Click on the link to learn more.

Most apartments are unfurnished, which means there is no furniture (bed, dining table, chairs, desk, etc.)  If you want to rent furniture for the semester, try this site: click here
