Glover received his BFA in Film and Animation in 1991 from Philadelphia’s University of the Arts. He taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Second Grade in the Baltimore City Public School System before earning his MFA in Photography and Digital Imaging at Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002. He then worked as a mentor for Maryland Institute College of Art’s Baltimore Youth Television Program with Middle and High School students.
In 2000 Glover received an Open Society Institute Community Fellowship for his video Internet collaborative project between Baltimore City, and Wyoming Native American students. He was a founding board member of Wide Angle Community Media, a non–profit that provides youth with media education, leadership opportunities, technical training, and media literacy workshops.
Glover has taught Multimedia, Interactive Design, and Visual Communications at Harford Community College. He has edited videos for non-profit clients, and produced short subject films and videos on his own. Now an Assistant Professor at Towson University, faculty advisor for Video Activism Organization, he teaches courses in Editing, Post Production, and Documentary as Activism. His research agenda involves examining the pervasive negative effects of consumer culture on democracy, environmental activism, and the urgent crises of climate change and resource depletion. Glover lives with his wife and three sons in Baltimore.
