Scholarship descriptions and requirements:
Renegade Spirit Scholarship in honor of Jennifer Stine '91
- declared EMF, Pre-EMF or MCOM major
- senior status
- 3.0 GPA
- U.S. citizen
- Award based on merit and a commitment to the "spirit of renegade" (i.e. a commitment to creativity in vision, purpose and persistence in completion or a worthwhile endeavor)
- An essay outlining applicant's merit and commitment to the "spirit of renegade" can be included.
- $1000 awarded
The Barry Levinson Scholarship Fund
- declared EMF or Pre-EMF major
- junior or senior status
- 3.0 GPA
- demonstrated academic achievement
- An essay outlining applicant's merit and academic achievement is required
- Award ranges from $400-$500
The WTMD Scholarship Fund
- sophomore status
- demonstrated promise for success in the radio profession
- preference given to students who work or volunteer for WTMD
- financial need is a possible consideration
- An essay outlining applicant's merit, promise of success in the radio profession, history of WTMD involvement and financial is required.
- Award ranges from $900-$1100
The Michael J. Robinson Scholarship Fund
- declared EMF or Pre-EMF major
- award based on merit with financial need a possible consideration
- preference given to students who work part-time during the academic year and full-time during summer recess.
- An essay outlining applicant's merit is required.
