The Conservation Job Board is an environmental career website that profiles the latest jobs in the fields related to conservation including environmental education, ecology, forestry, wildlife biology, fisheries, marine science, park management, outdoor recreation, etc.

Next Wave is the career resource for early career scientists. University System of Maryland has an institutional subscription to Next Wave, so all students have access to our site from any on-campus computer (but ONLY from on-campus computers). It is a weekly online publication published by AAAS and Science magazine. The site includes weekly news, alternative career profiles, discussion forums, academic career advice and funding information.

The Ornithological Council. Lots of bird-oriented job opportunities and graduate fellowships listed in the Ornithological Newsletter.

The Ecological Society of America provides news and plenty more about every topic in ecology. Job announcements and fellowship opportunities (see Job Announcements under Careers & Certification).

Society for Conservation Biology is the best source to begin a search for conservation-related employment or information on programs in conservation biology. Go to the 'find a job' link at the top.

The Nature Conservancy includes a link to job listing. Search 'jobs' and you'll find it.

United States Geological Survey advertises many internships that are reserved exclusively for recent college graduates and also posts advertisements for jobs at many environmentally-oriented government agencies.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service lists employment and volunteer opportunities plus information on careers.

Green Jobs Ready is a relatively new jobs site for a range of position types.
The Environmental Protection Agency lists many internships that are reserved exclusively for recent college graduates and also posts advertisements for jobs at many environmentally-oriented government agencies.

The Environmental Careers Organization has been around for many years and has been helping people locate jobs, internships and identify their career choices for a long time. Definitely worth checking.

The Wetlands Jobs Board maintained by the Society of Wetlands Scientists.

Orion, a grassroots network, posts positions and internship opportunities across the country. Their members focus on conservation, education, restoration and environmental justice.
