The major in Environmental Science and Studies major with an Environmental Science track requires 73-78 units. Students select this track if they are unsure of which area, geology, chemistry or biology they wish to focus in or if they want a broad exposure to the discipline with the expectation of continuing on to graduate study in one of these areas. Students graduating from this area are prepared for graduate programs or careers in environmental consulting, environmental monitoring, environmental compliance and other similar fields.
