A Musical Travelogue of the Philippines
TU to present authentic Filipino music performance
Who? Pianist Reynaldo Rayes, Department of Music, collaborates with Alleluia Panis, artistic director of Kularts (San Francisco), in a performance of Filipino music featuring the Magui Moro Master Artists, a colorful and exuberant kulintang music ensemble.
When? Sat., March 11, 8 p.m.
Where? Center for the Arts'
Harold Kaplan Concert Hall.
Why? The performance will
highlight the beauty of indigenous traditions of the Filipino people.

Towson names new AD
The Sun, March 8
Reporter Ken Murray covered President Robert L. Caret's introduction of Mike Hermann as TU's new director of athletics.
"Our goal is to be at the top of the league," Hermann said at Tuesday's press conference. "Because if you're at the top of our league, you're competing for national championships, you're going to the NCAA tournament." Towson University offers e-business degree
Baltimore Messenger, March 3
Rodney Stump, Department of Marketing and e-business, told reporter Brandon Dudley that TU's undergraduate program in e-business is unique in the state of Maryland. "We're the only one of all the public institutions to have that major at the bachelor's level," Stump said. In an unrelated article, "Web site gives fix-up blow by blow," Stump told writer Loni Ingraham that the banner in front of the historic Weiskittel house is "a clever tactic" that directs traffic to the Web site of the partnership that purchased the residence for renovation and resale.
