Where? Baltimore's West Mount Vernon Park
How? Admission is free and open to the public. Pets are allowed (leashes required); children have a great time. Alcohol may be purchased only from park vendors during the concert. (No alcohol may be brought into or taken out of the park.) WTMD staff and volunteers will be on site in the WTMD tent to distribute WTMD bumper stickers and answer questions.

Towson Dance Team takes home national title again
WJZ-TV, April 27
Reporter Ron Matz spoke to Coach Tom Cascella, Department of Theatre Arts, after the TU Dance Team won its 10th Division I National Championship in a row. "It's very demanding," Cascella said of the team's training regimen. "We rehearse two nights during the week and seven hours on the weekend. [Team members] all go into the studio on their days off."
The price of food is rising
WMAR-TV, April 24
Reporter Brittney Gordon noted that there are many reasons for rising food costs, including increased demand for food in places like India and China. Tamara Woroby, Department of Economics, told Gordon that the cost of petroleum also is a contributing factor. "Petroleum prices are higher and raising the cost for processing foods," she said.
University finds 'uplifting' answer for crossing Osler Drive
Towson Times, April 23
Reporter Loni Ingraham talked to Jack Nye, Facilities Management, about plans to build a pedestrian bridge over busy Osler Drive for West Village residents. "You put more people with more vehicles and there is greater potential for an accident," Nye said. "We want to try to avoid that." The bridge, to cost about $3.5 million, is scheduled for August 2010 completion.
