Lynn Ray, Office of Technology Services, gave a presentation on “Performing Risk Analysis and Testing: Outsource or In-House? A Towson University Case Study” on Jan. 7 at the Philadelphia EDUCASEU Mid Atlantic Regional Conference: The Technology Revolution in Higher Education: IT as a Catalyst for Change.

Kristi Yowell, Human Resources, has been elected 2009 chair of the USM Women’s Forum, effective Jan. 1. As chair, she presides at all Executive Council meetings. She also will serve as the organization's spokesperson at the annual meeting with the chancellor later this month.The USMWF includes representation from all USM institutions and the system’s office.

Kanji Takeno, Photographic Services, spoke to about 100 Chesapeake High School art students on Feb. 9. He talked about his photography career, including his early photography, photography business, and TU publication photography.
