Patricia Hrusa Williams, Family Studies and Community Development, published a chapter, “Hispanic Families and Family Literacy Practices: Differences by Country of Origin,” in Innovations in Child and Family Policy, edited by Emily M. Douglas and just published by Lexington Books.

Arthur L. Wharton III, Accounting, was recently featured in an ad promoting The PhD Project. The PhD Project's mission is to increase the diversity of corporate America by increasing the diversity of business school faculty. As a member of the PhD Project, Wharton serves as role model, attracting and mentoring minority students while improving the preparation of all students for our diverse workplace and society.

James Condron, Art, will have his work exhibited at the Cafritz Art Center at Montgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus today through Apr. 8. The opening reception for "A Space Within: Self as Landscape, Landscape as Self” will take place on Thurs., March 11.
