Rigoberta Menuchu


Nobel Peace Prize winner Rigoberta Menchú Tum will share her lifelong journey as a social activist and humanitarian on Wednesday, October 5, at 7 p.m. in the University Union's Chesapeake Rooms. A Guatemalan K'iche' woman, she is known internationally as a leading advocate for indigenous rights and ethno-cultural reconciliation. Her visit is part of the Center for Student Diversity's 2011-2012 Diversity Speaker Series. Admission is free and open to the public.
