Beth Haller, Mass Communication and Communication Studies, started the Media dis&dat blog last January. 

She has been been researching mass media images of people with disabilities since 1990 and sees the blog an extension of her research.

Media dis&dat reposts the news Haller collects through Google Alerts and e-mailed tips, but she sometimes reviews films or TV with disability content or characters with disabilities.
