This Vermeer-inspired butterfly is one of Towson’s most exotic winged creatures. The fiberglass sculpture, painted by senior art major Chelsea Ponter, is one of four purchased by Student Affairs and the Parents Association to grace the streets of downtown Towson. All were painted by TU students selected by Jean Miller, chair of the Department of Art + Design, Art History, Art Education, at the request of the Towson Chamber of Commerce.
