On November 4 deaf and hard-of-hearing people had an opportunity to experience live election returns via captioned radio. The demo, hosted by the Harris Corp., National Public Radio (NPR) and WTMD, involved about 50 guests who were invited to use and evaluate the technology .It's all part of a TU-based initiative to make radio more accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing users worldwide.
