Completion of 21 units of FMST coursework including FMST 101, 201, 297*, 301, 302, 387 with a minimum grade of "C" and consent of department chair. FMST 340 required for Child Life Track only. *FMST 297 must be taken in the semester just before FMST 397.

Research Methods in Family Studies
FMST 101, FMST 302, Stats (PSYC 212, MATH 231, MATH 237, or ECON 205), ENG 102 or ENG 190.

Senior Seminar in Family Studies
FMST 485 and final semester of academic program

Advanced Internship in Family Studies
