Urban Resources Initiative

The project would be to organize the Department of Recreation and Park’s GIS files to create a database and file management system for existing and future Recreation and Parks and related citywide GIS data, map files, tables, and pdfs. GIS database management skills required, as well as ability to work with and reconfigure existing database sets.

Datastory is looking for a full time GIS Solution Engineer/ArcGIS Online Geek

Interns will use GPS to map well locations, GIS to create maps, and knowledge of general soil science and hydrology to assist in the review of well permit applications. The pay is $9 per hour for 34 hours per week for 8 weeks. Flexible with vacations and needed time off. This could lead to future permanent employment.

Cylburn Arboretum

Are you reasonably proficient in ArcGIS? Cylburn Arboretum is looking for a summer intern who could pick up on a project to update and correct GIS layers for the Arboretum, which is located on Cold Spring across from Sinai Hospital just south of Northern Parkway.
