and Teaching Interests
Research and teaching include the political ecology of resource development in the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Russian Far East, indigenous responses to globalization in Pacific Russia, Arctic sovereignty claims in the context of climate change, and broadly envisioned the social theory of global environmental issues.
